See You Again.

A really good (acoustic) cover of "See You Again" by Ernie Halter. Yes, it's a Miley Cyrus song. I haven't listened to any of her other songs (don't really plan to unless it happens to be on the radio), but this song is pretty catchy.

Same artist, "Apologize" (of OneRepublic) for LAL :)

Passover coca cola

So I was at Giant today and when I passed by the Passover section, something caught my eye. I remembered reading an article somewhere last year about Passover Coke (sucrose instead of HFCS) and I vowed to find it this year. Of course, I forgot all about it till I saw a shelf full of bottles of Coke. I checked to make sure it was the right one (meaning I wasn't paying more money for regular soda) and then I bought it! I haven't tried it yet, but it's supposed to taste more "authentic", and it's better for you (well, better than the HFCS kind).

My Shows are Coming Back!!

THE OFFICE - APRIL 10th

UGLY BETTY - APRIL 24th
PUSHING DAISIES - Fall 2008

I think that's enough TV for now, heh.

And I caught Sound of Music on ABC family yesterday. I always watch it whenever it's on. I've seen it more times than any other movie, but I still love it every single time. Best movie ever.

Movies

Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day

I went to see this movie with my sister on Monday. I thought it was great. Too sweet at times, but overall very well-done. It would actually make a great theatre production, especially the way the movie was set up. Everything was so vibrant and delightful, one wishes they were living in that era (despite the impending war). Actually, it's like Pushing Daisies; tragic events yet so bright and whimsical. This movie is categorized as a romantic comedy I think, but it's definitely so much more than the current type of comedy. But that's what it was going for, a throwback to the comedies of the 30s. The whole cast was wonderful, Lee Pace was especially awesome :P. And I loved the soundtrack. Here's a duet by Amy Adams and Lee Pace (if you want to hear it) "If I Didn't Care":

Enchanted (DVD)

I also picked up my Enchanted DVD on Tuesday. First of all, kind of disappointed that there is 1) no Idina Menzel and James Marsden duet, and 2) no movie commentary. But the behind-the-scenes stuff for the three songs and the deleted scenes were good. Heh, the cockroaches coming up from the drain were still gross, the rats drying the cups with their butts were still disturbing but I still love it.

Ratatouille (slight spoilers)

So I finally got around to renting Ratatouille from the Redbox in Giant. I think I went in with too high expectations, but it's still a great movie. And I know Finding Nemo is a completely different movie (different animals, different surroundings), I still liked Finding Nemo more. Also, several people told me about Ratatouille and the first thing they all said was, "Good movie. But it's long." I did think it dragged in some places, but I thought the same with The Incredibles, so maybe it's just Brad Bird's choice and my impatience. And as with Enchanted, the idea of rats in the kitchen kind of threw me off (though yes I know, it's not real). My favorite part in the movie is when all the rats are steam-washed/sanitzed (?, I don't want to say autoclaved) so they're all fluffy and clean. Overall, it was a very aesthetically pleasing and heart-warming movie with an awesome soundtrack. And the food looked great.

The Secret Garden (1993)
I remember watching this movie maybe 10 years ago on HBO and a few times over the years, but it was on again so I watched it again. It's my favorite version of The Secret Garden, great child actors and great sets. It's how I imagined it would be when I read the book. It also has a great soundtrack, very haunting so that when I watched the movie again yesterday, I remember hearing it for the first time many years before.

Tazo Refresh Tea tastes like...grass and gum. Ack. Bleh. Should've stuck with regular black or green tea. I was just feeling adventurous because mango ceylon turned out so well.

It is a beautiful day outside. Go enjoy it.
