Must Stop Spending Money.

Somebody stop me spending money. Just this week, I have bought HIMYM Seasons 1+2, Sound of Music DVD, KA flour, and cake flour. Things that were on sale, that I told myself I would regret not buying now...

Also, I watched The X Files movie today. I don't know what to say. On one hand, there is nothing on TV like The X Files anymore, I miss it so much. On the other hand, there was just way too romance in the movie, completely crossing the line of sexual tension and subtleness characteristic of classic X Files to having anvils repeatedly dropping on the audience. I can't say I loved the movie, but I definitely welcome the closure.

O_O

Okay. That was awesome. I could barely breathe. Joss Whedon does it again.

Amazing.

NPH + Nathan Fillion = GOLD.

I had been looking forward to "Dr. Horrible's Sing-along Blog" since I heard about it. I mean, Neil Patrick Harris as the lovesick evil-villain-wannabe protagonist, and Nathan Fillion as the "hero" Captain Hammer, singing....together? Recipe for awesomeness. And I was not disappointed. Act I is up on www.drhorrible.com, and Act II debuts tomorrow.

SYTYCD.

I can finally start watching SYTYCD again. I've missed 3 weeks (6 dancers eliminated), but the people I liked from auditions are still there. Actually, this year, no one really caught my attention like last year, so I'm pretty meh already. The cast is the least diverse this year. Anyway, after watching last night, there is one couple I'm definitely 100% behind -- Mark/Chelsie. I think they have the most comfortable chemistry out of all the couples left, and they're just really cheerful and happy (kind of reminiscent of Benji/Donyelle or Ivan/Allison). The rest of the couples are all way too serious (at least this week) or really forgettable.

Plus, Mandy Moore (the choreographer) is one of my favorite choreographers on the show now.

Mark/Chelsie Top 14, Jazz, Kiss Kiss

In non-SYTYCD news, I forgot to mention in the last post, but I loved the closing song to Prince Caspian, and here it is:
The Call (Regina Spektor)
